Post by daib0 » 19 Jan 2019, 22:45

Top wage at every League 1 club... according to a thread on a Blackpool forum...

here are supposedly the amounts the top paid players earn at each club.

Accrington Stanley - £1,200

AFC Wimbledon - £2,000

Barnsley - £3,800

Blackpool £3,500

Bradford City - £5,000

Bristol Rovers - £4,000

Burton Albion - £5,000

Charlton - £7,000

Coventry - £4,500

Doncaster - £3,750

Fleetwood - £3,500

Gillingham - £2,500

Luton - £4,000

Oxford - £5,000

Peterborough - £5,000

Plymouth - £3,500

Portsmouth - £6,000

Rochdale - £2,200

Scunthorpe - £4,000

Shrewsbury - £3,000

Southend - £5,000

Sunderland - £30,000

Walsall - £1,800

Wycombe - £2,200

Any surprises? Do you know who Posh's top earner is?

I take it that is per week.

Who at Sunderland gets £30,000 per week? That's ridiculous.

£5000 per week could be Maddison.

More deserving than most, if in fact that is him.
Anybody really believe those figures? It's been an area of speculation to us for years as to what our players are being paid and we are still none the wiser! Where on earth has all this 'wonderful' information suddenly come from?
I would guess that it is simply some young hack having a guess as to what players earn!

Rubbish. Doesn't take in loan players. Doesn't include individual bonus deals. Doesn't include team bonus.
