Same old same old 1-0 to Oxford,
except it sounds like we were the better side and on top until the goal certainly second half

I thought we were the better side when we lost to Oxford when we led 1-0 at half time and lost 1-4

And we played the last ten minutes with only ten men didn't we?

From the BBC site

Possession Home 50% Away50%
Shots Home8 Away12
Shots on Target Home3 Away4
Corners Home4 Away5
Fouls Home15 Away12

So we were as good or better on everything except that goal.

..........he’d still be serving a touchline ban for getting sent off numerous times as well as being the vilest most reviled man in football......anyway how did your beloved Evans team get on tonight & how many games has he won this season???

We were so much better than last Saturday. I thought we were gonna sneak one in despite the flag-happy lino. The ref was the usual L1 standard - inconsistent.
Bummer of the night was Tas limping off.
The youngster from Lynn, his name doesn’t quite roll off the tongue yet, he looks promising. Pym made a couple of decent saves though we could see he wasn’t in the right place for their free kick.
So tonight was more disappointing than Saturday, imho.
And I, for one, am glad we shan’t be going to that smelly venue again for a while. :comeon: :comeon:
We go again...

Did you notice that the 'smell' put in an appearance about ten minutes before the end of the game? It was during 'smell time' that we conceded again!

If you ask Gaz it’s because Evans left and Fergie is nowhere near as good. If you ask someone with one iota of common sense they’ll point out that we have had some unbelievably bad luck like last night using our final two substitutes a couple of minutes before one of our players went down with an injury. It sounded by the accounts I’ve heard and read we were the better side for most of the game

We certainly were the better side bristle. That 's the way football goes sometimes but I am sure that things will even out over the rest of the season.
