Re: The Ashes 2019

He's only bringing Bradman up because he's old enough to have watched every innings he played, he also watched WG Grace, and CB Fry in their pomp

Re: Posh v Ipswich

Interesting that there were 4,000 Ipswich fans from a TOWN with a population of 133,000 while there were just 6,000 home fans from a CITY of 196,000. Easily explained, Peterborough is a city that the majority of the population was from overspill from London, whereas Ipswich is a long established to...

Based on that new ruling England could have substituted Roy ; he seems off his head!
In the one day game he was superb, especially when partnering Bairstow, the red ball appears to be so different to the white ball game

Well it's a fairly recent rule introduced by the ICC.It only applies when a player suffers concussion and fails a concussion test.
That would explain why England couldn't use a sub when Anderson got injured, may have made a big difference.

Astonished he wasn't even on the bench.
He probably was unaware of any of his team mates names having presumably not had a chance to train with them, plus as Ashman says probablky not match fit

Re: Alex Woodyard and Jason Naismith

I think both have been given a bum deal, Naismith towards the end of last season was far better than Mason has proved thus far, and Woodyard imo was far superior to Reid, they are distinctively different styles of player but I'd prefer the former any day of the week. I think we are going to be losin...

Tommy Rowe scored for Bristol City the other day and did the full 90 today against previously unbeaten QPR.

Re: Posh v Ipswich

Oh, and George Boyd is finished. Pure nostalgia bringing him back. Did you actually watch that game, he was superb, most of our defending down the left hand side and the attacking was down to him and Tracy Barlow, if the right hand side had been as defensively secure we wouldn't have been in such d...

Re: Posh v Ipswich

It would appear that Knight and Reed in place of Dembele and Woodyard (not even in the squad so either injured or thinking of following Naismith out the door) is the managers answer to all the defensive errors.
